Ben R. Loggins, Founder of Loggins Kern and McCombs, is a native of East Point, Georgia. He and
his wife, Theresa, have made their home in the area since 1984.

He received his BBA and MBA from Georgia State University in Atlanta. Ben also served with the Internal Revenue Service as an agent and instructor for over six years. In addition, he spent over two years with an International Accounting Firm before coming to Jonesboro to form an accounting firm in 1980. His firm, Loggins and Associates P.C., has grown to 15 employees.

Some of Ben’s activities have included teaching a course on Accounting and QuickBooks at Clayton State College, Treasurer of Clayton County Rotary Club, Director of Southern Regional Medical Center Foundation, Director of Clayton Community Foundation, Treasurer for the Georgia Figure Skating Club, Member of the Governing Council and Finance Committee of the US Figure Skating Association, Treasurer for the Clayton County Olympic Committee, Executive Director of Atlanta Alumni of Revenue Agents, Director of Bay View Homeowner’s Association, and member of both the American Institute of CPAs and Georgia Society of CPAs.

Mindy Godwin is a native of Atlanta and resides in Sandy Springs with her husband and business partner Rodney and their two sons Jack and Spencer. Mindy is the president of her family operated woman owned company, ARC, that began back in 1978, the year she was born. She earned a degree in hotel restaurant travel management from Gwinnett Tech and GA State and uses her tools in hospitality that she learned 20 years ago in growing her business every day. “My ultimate goal and true desire is to make every single customer feel special and appreciated by me and give them the best service possible no matter how big or small their business is.

Mitch Hamburger is a native Atlantan and long time employee of ARC and brother of Mindy Godwin. He grew up in the business, working during the Summer or during holidays, helping with production or going on deliveries. He learned a lot about what it means to run a small business and especially about building building professional relationships that are based on trust and last years. There are still people he keeps up with that remember him, his dad and the company even though they haven’t done business with ARC for as many as 20 years.

Today, Mitch primarily oversees the production of the extensive promotional and apparel branding. Duties include identifying which items are best suited to target marketing a company’s customers. Research shows that 3 dimensional marking is the most powerful tool for driving ROI. He hears a lot of people who say, “I could never work with my family.” His response is, “I can’t imagine not working with the people I love.”

Don Bravaldo founded Bravaldo Capital Advisors in 2006 to provide full-service investment banking to middle market clients, a segment underserved by larger advisory firms. As managing partner, Don has led BCA through successful transactions across a wide variety of industries.

Prior to founding Bravaldo Capital Advisors, Don led the middle market group at a Southeastern business brokerage firm and oversaw all North American mergers and acquisition activity for Hanger Orthopedic Group, Inc., a large, publicly traded, consolidator of orthopedic and prosthetic service businesses.

In these roles, Don administered all phases of the mergers and acquisition process, including identifying potential sell side opportunities, packaging businesses for sale, performing business valuations, extending and negotiating offers, conducting due diligence investigations, and managing the formal closing process.

Earlier in his career as an auditor with Bennett Thrasher & Co., P.C. and Arthur Andersen LLP, Don coordinated financial reporting engagements and provided business consulting services to clients throughout the Southeast in industries including construction, service, manufacturing, and healthcare.

Don is a member of the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He graduated Cum Laude with a BS in Accounting from Auburn University. Don is active in his church and enjoys golf, fishing and the outdoors.
